Photo coverage of the heavy police presence during the August 19th march in Ottawa protesting the Security & Prosperity Partnership meetings in Montebello, QC. (billed by governments as the "Three Amigos Summit"). Montebello is not far southeast of Ottawa.

Citizens Say No to Undemocratic SPP.
(Ottawa) Police were out in full force, as shown in this slide show of photos taken at the massive SPP protests in Ottawa, on August 19th.

Many of the 5 pages are shots of cops filming the march and protesters.
Police had canine units stationed along the route but according to
photojournalist Abort, who heard the dogs barking, they could not be seen behind the barriers along the route.
You can also see from some of the shorts of the tops of government buildings along Wellington Street (including Parliament's East Block), that cops are stationed on the roofs, monitoring and taking footage of the crowds.
